A selection of costumes for my 2nd Year individual speculative design for ‘Twelfth Night’. Olivia and Orsino’s courts have their own specific colour schemes and styles (corals and a whimsical, almost fairy-tale style for Olivia, involving lots of gauze and glitter, and a green military-style for Orsino, with strong, clean silhouettes and war-paint), and the ‘others’ (the characters who come to Illyria by sea from another world) use an other-worldly purple and sailor stripes.
